With a fascinating journey that has taken him from the exotic coastlines of Africa, Senegal, the Cape Verde Islands, across the vast Atlantic to America, Bermuda, and the Caribbean, Vincent is not just an experienced seafarer but also a passionate conservationist. Having previously worked with Sea Shepherd, and been deeply involved in marine research and oceanography, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Ilfracombe Princess.

Despite his global voyages, Vincent's roots are still firmly planted in Kent, where his family home lies. When Mark offered him the helm of the Ilfracombe Princess, Vincent was thrilled to make the journey to North Devon and instantly fell in love with the area, the team, and our stunning vessel. Now, he's eager to relocate his family to this beautiful part of the country and dive into life in our close-knit community.

As we gear up for the season ahead, Vincent is looking forward to meeting all our guests and, with his extensive knowledge, he is making some changes to our trips so that we offer a different experience. With his unique blend of experience and passion, he aims to make the Ilfracombe Princess stand out from the crowd, continuously raising the game to ensure we offer the best experiences on the water.
