Ilfracombe Princess in Winter

During the winter months when the Princess was lifted out she underwent a refurbishment.  Firstly we wrapped her up to keep the elements out, good job too - it didn’t stop raining all winter!

The top deck had got so faded from the sunshine over the years we had to strip this back and re-spray.  The benches were taken away sanded and re-varnished. We then painted all the decks! At one stage it we did wonder if she would ever be finished in time for the season (A crystal ball would have been handy here....) things tend to look worse before they look better. 

With the support from local firms and our crew putting in the hours she is finally looking brand new again.  Applying the finishing touches John and Russ from LeeMac Design were able to apply the new graphics.  I think you will agree how smart she is now looking.
