Thanks to the unpredictable British weather, we have had a season of ups and downs. Having said that, we’ve had some wonderful trips and as winter begins, our iconic Big Yellow Boat - the Ilfracombe Princess - is preparing to tuck herself away for a well-earned rest.

We want to thank all our customers for joining us aboard, it's been great to see so many happy faces and the North Devon coast never fails to offer us stunning views and incredible wildlife.

This is also a great time for us to show our appreciation to our fantastic crew. From our skippers to deck hands, shore staff to ticket sellers and everyone else involved with the #bigyellowboat – we are a great team and couldn’t do it without you.

While the Ilfracombe Princess is 'hibernating', we'll be donning our overalls and getting to work. It’s the perfect opportunity to give her a thorough clean, ensuring every nook and cranny shines just as brightly as her vibrant exterior. Beyond the sparkle and shine, we'll also be tending to any minor repairs, ensuring our vessel remains in ship-shape condition for our eager passengers next season.

And speaking of the next season, when will the Big Yellow Boat rise from her winter slumber, you ask? Come next Easter, we plan to have her back on the waters, ready to embark on new adventures and create more cherished memories.
